Fariba Sanai
Fariba attended Colchester School of Art and the Central School of Art and Design, London, where she earned a BA Honours degree in Industrial Design Engineering. She carried out postgraduate studies at Stanford University, where she trained under Bill Moggridge, before returning to the Central School of Art and Design to complete her MA in Industrial Design.
After graduation she was chosen by a leading Japanese company to set up a 3D design studio in Paris to develop a range of accessories and lifestyle goods, from furniture to bicycles: this is where she designed the iconic “No-Face” watch and “Spring-Clip” range of writing instruments.
Fariba’s designs were sought after for their functional quality, inventiveness and simple beauty,
and her reputation grew as she became involved in joint ventures with prestigious brands.
Long experience has provided Fariba with an impressive collection of contacts in prototyping, manufacturing, distribution and retail.
